You are in the middle of a deep dark forest, trying to find your way home. You are walking on a snowy path. It is getting dark and you are getting cold. You are tired so you look for a place to sleep.

Excellent! You are with friends. Your friends and you now can have a rest. One of them even finds signal and the GPS of your hideout. What seemed like a horror movie can now turn into a weekend party. You order pizza and prepare for an overnight, lighting a fire to dry out your wet socks.
The place is gloomy though. You should explore it to know for sure you are safe.

You started climbing the stairs to the attick, when suddenly a monster sprang up from the trapdoor and ate you.
Go with your friends next time. (Why did you go alone to a deep dark forest anyway? Have you ever watched a horror film?)
Anyway... GAME OVERYour friends decided to go upstairs to explore the attick. They left you alone in the hallroom.
Are you sure you want to stay there totally alone?

You decided to stay downstairs. Just as you were unpacking, something sharp and pointy stabbed you from behind. You fell on the floor.
GAME OVERYou decide to stay totally alone in a hallroom in the middle of a deep dark forest.
A monster which has been hiding behind the door to the cellar comes quickly and eats you.
GAME OVERYou listened to your instincts and followed your friends upstairs.
The attick is dark and dusty. You walk around a bit. All of a sudden you hear noises. It sounds like steps, but it couldn´t be anybody from your team. The sound was comming from the hallroom downstairs.
Do you [[ask your friends if they heard the noise too?]]
Do you [[ignore it?]]You ask your friends and they nod in fear.
What now?
Do you [[wait for the team and go downstairs together?]]
Do you [[hurry and go downstairs alone?]]
You decided to ignored it for this time.
Suddenly you hear another loud noise. It´s comming from somewhere outside the house, but close, as if someone is running towards the house and back into the woods. You dragg your friends downstairs and together you follow the sound of running steps out from the house.
There seems to be nobody there.
Do you [[keep following the sound?]] Do you [[go back to the house?]]
You decided to wait for your team to gather and then go downstairs and check together. It was a good idea. Whoever it was, they were strong enough to take half of your bags outside in nearly no time. The front door is open and there are heavy steps in the snow comming closer and closer [[...->cellar]]
You decide to go quickly and check the source of the noise.
There was a monster peeking on you from under the trapdoor. When you came close enough, it jumped on you and ripped your head off - to use it later as decoration :(
GAME OVERYou and your friends keep following the sound of running steps into the forest. You want to find out what they are. There are no footprints in the snow. You lose the sense of directions and you get very tired and cold.
Exhausted you slowly pass out into a warm sleep from which you never wake up.
GAME OVERYou and your friends stuff yourselves into the big closet. One of you peeks out through the keyhole [[...->intruder]]
You relied on the moment of surprize and rushed out of the closet with your fists ready to fight.
Now, well, what did you expect? That was a little bit naive, wasn´t it ( no offence meant)?
The monster ate you all like a piece of cake.
GAME OVERYou decide to hold your breath and stay hidden.
After a while which feels like ages, there is distant sound of front door banging in the wind and the monster climbs back to the hallroom - probably to look for an intruder, or just fetch the rest of your backpacks.
You and your friends get out of the closet and quietly explored the cellar. After a while you find something - a small and really old stone arch which first looked just like the part of the walls. Under the dusty surface you detect a massive oak door [[...->looking for the key]]
You scatter around the house exploring it, each on your own.
You decide to explore the cellar and find a monster there. You become the monster´s dinner :)
GAME OVERYou try to open the door, but it´s locked. You need a key. You look at each other and then you feel it. A horrible gust of hot smelly breath on your necks.
You feel chills run down your spine and slowly turn around to see... the monster. Everyone starts screaming. Then the monster speaks.
"Do you want some pizza?"
You look at each other, then at the monster, totally confused. You nod, still in fear of what is to come[[...->pizza ending]]Please, be warned!
You are entering a dark place full of unpredictable twists and hostile creatures. This particular path will lead you to a winter night adventure with a gloomy house to explore. The path was designed by Unicorn Sisters (13) in hope you find it entertaining. The Land Owner had to redesign some parts of the story to balance the beginning and the ending and make the adventure sound bit more logical. Should you refrain from the idea of entering, feel free to go back to the Main Crossroads and try another path.
[[Enter->Survive or Die]]You see an old house. You open the door and get inside. There´s a big hallroom, stairs leading to the attick and a trapdoor, probably to the cellar. Suddenly the door behind you slams shut and you pass out from the instant shock.
You wake up in the hallroom.
Are you with [[friends?]]
Are you [[alone?]]Your friends keep following the sound of running steps but you decide to return to the house. Your friends never come back.
You are alone in an old house in the middle of a dark forest.
The rest is quite predictable.
GAME OVER.
You panicked. There must be somewhere to hide here.
Then you saw the trapdoor. You quickly grabbed your friends silently by their hands, opened the trapdoor and jumped into the void [[...->closet]]
You fall - one on top of the other - into a dimly lit cellar with a huge closet in the middle.
Follow your instincts!
[[Hide in it!]]All of a sudden there is a sound of trapdoor opening and a harsh non-human voice whispers:
"I know you´re down there. Can´t keep me waiting! Too late to escape...
Then something huge and heavy jumps down to the cellar.
You must act quickly now. Do you want to [[open the closet and jump on the thing,]] or [[hold your breath and stay hidden?]]Dear player,
However crazy it must sound to you, the monster really meant it. It smiled and left the room, leaving you sitting obediently. Then it came back, with a box of pizza, and left.
After 30 minutes, pizza untouched, you peeped through the trapdoor. The monster was sitting in front of the house, door wide open, eating the body of the delivery boy. Your eyes widen. You were shocked but at least it wasn´t you or any of your friends.
You go back to your hideout, eat the pizza while the monster finishes its own dinner and then, with stomachs full, it is much easier to make friends. The monster tells you it won´t need feeding for another week or two, and suddenly you feel really lucky you managed to hold it back long enough for the delivery to appear.
You watch some films on Netflix together and become friends for the time being?
In the morning you and your friends leave the house and head home!
